Generative Audio
Generative audio is sound or music created by an algorithm or model that follows a set of rules or learned patterns, often producing material that varies each time it runs.[1] Instead of a single fixed recording, the system generates output on demand, which can yield endless non repeating variation within defined creative bounds.
This makes it well suited to adaptive scores, ambiences, and experiences that should never sound exactly the same twice. Designing generative audio is largely about shaping the rules and constraints, since they determine the character and quality of everything the system produces.[2]
